In-house FDM 3D printing on Creality machines. We turn a design into a functional prototype you can hold, test, and fit against real hardware. Print, test, iterate, in hours, not weeks.

3D printing is where a product stops being a drawing and starts being a thing. We print functional prototypes, check enclosures against the actual PCB and battery, and catch the interference and tolerance problems that only show up in the real world.

Because printing happens on our own bench, the loop is fast. Change the model in the morning, hold the revised part in the afternoon. That speed is the whole point of rapid prototyping: fail cheap and early, before anyone cuts steel for a mold.

Enclosure fit-check iterations

For a client board, we printed successive enclosure revisions to validate connector cutouts, standoff heights, and board clearance. Three print cycles closed out fit issues that would have been expensive to find after tooling.

Spring-loaded latch mechanism

We prototyped a spring-loaded latch and cylinder mechanism to prove the motion and travel before committing to final materials. Printing let us test the kinematics and tune the fit across several quick revisions.

For an industrial numpad enclosure, we printed the housing to validate key spacing, snap features, and assembly before the injection-mold tooling path. The printed part de-risked the tooling investment.

3D printing is rarely the whole job. The printed part usually starts as a mechanical and enclosure design, and once the fit is proven, the same design carries through DFM and tooling in our batch production service. One team, from first print to shipped units.

Frequently asked questions.

What tolerances can you hold on FDM prints?

On our Creality FDM machines we design to roughly +/- 0.2 mm on general features and tune fits per part. For press-fits, snap-fits, and threaded inserts we print test coupons first and dial in the clearance before printing the full part.

Which materials do you print?

PLA and PETG for most functional prototypes and fit-checks, ABS when heat resistance matters, and TPU for flexible parts, gaskets, and living hinges. We advise on the right material for the job, not just what is on the spool.

Can you go from a 3D print to injection molding?

Yes. We use printed parts to validate fit and function, then take the design through DFM for injection molding and prepare a tooling-quote-ready package. The prototype is a step in the path to production, not a dead end.

Do you print from customer STL or STEP files?

Yes. Send us STL or STEP files and we will clean them up, check printability, suggest fixes, and print. We can also design the part from scratch if you only have a sketch or a reference sample.
